Teri Gilbert – Studio Director
With over 12 years of experience as a dedicated dance instructor, Teri Gilbert brings passion, precision, and a deep love for the art to every class she teaches. Specializing in Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Pointe, Acro, Heels, Contemporary, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Technique, and Hip Hop, she is known for pushing her students to achieve their highest potential while fostering a fun and supportive environment.
Teri’s choreography has earned numerous accolades within the dance community, both for her creative vision and the exceptional skillsets of her students. Beyond the studio, she continues to share her talents by choreographing for local theatre productions and seasonal events throughout Central Florida.
Her extensive background includes a vibrant performance career with Universal Studios Orlando, where she danced in high-profile shows such as the Marilyn Monroe Show, Halloween Horror Nights, the Macy’s Christmas Parade, and the Dr. Seuss-inspired “Oh the Places You Will Go.” She also performed as a stilt walker for Mardi Gras and other special events at CityWalk and Fun Spot.
Teri is thrilled to continue inspiring the next generation of dancers, guiding them with the same energy, artistry, and dedication that has defined her own path.
Emma Hague – Instructor / Front Desk
Emma has been dancing since the age of 3 and began her competitive dance journey at 9 years old! Over the years, she has trained in a variety of dance styles, with contemporary and tap being her all-time favorites. She has also had the opportunity to perform in shows with Twistid Arts Initiative, allowing her to continue growing as a dancer and performer outside of the competition world.
After spending so many years growing up in the dance world, Emma is so excited to begin a brand new chapter as a TNT Dance Factory teacher! She is looking forward to sharing her love for dance with her students, helping them grow in their confidence and abilities, and creating memories that they will carry with them throughout their own dance journeys.
Elisha Belden – Instructor
Elisha Belden is an award-winning performance and technical theater professional with over two decades of experience in the arts. As the Executive Director of Twistid Arts Initiative, Elisha leads with a passion for storytelling, a dedication to community, and a commitment to creating bold, inclusive, and immersive theatrical experiences.
Elisha’s artistic journey began at just two years old in the United Kingdom, where she studied ballet and spent her summers attending workshops and intensives throughout her youth. She later shared that passion as a ballet instructor, teaching children ages 2–5 and 5–8 for several years before shifting her focus fully to theater.
A true multidisciplinary artist, Elisha’s expertise includes set design, choreography, acting, and stage management. Her comprehensive approach to theater allows her to bring productions to life from every angle, blending visual spectacle with powerful performance. She is a proud member of the Florida Association of Theater Education (FATE) and is deeply involved in mentoring young artists and fostering arts accessibility.
Her recent projects include an edgy, reimagined production of Macbeth slated for 2025, and the transformation of a long-abandoned building into a thriving visual and performing arts center. Elisha’s work reflects her lifelong commitment to the arts and her belief in their power to inspire, educate, and unite communities.
Bridget Bowerson – Instructor
Bridget Bowerson brings over 13 years of dance experience to the studio, including six years of competitive training. Her background spans a wide range of styles such as jazz, lyrical, musical theatre, and tap. Bridget is known for her positive energy, creative vision, and strong work ethic both in and out of the studio. She strives to create a supportive environment for dancers to grow, express themselves, and build confidence through the art of dance.
